Study Participation Opportunity

Patti Varga is a doctoral student at Marquette University conducting a study on factors that contribute to ethnically and racially underrepresented RNs successfully completing their BSN degree. She is working to develop a theory that discovers and describes what contributes to these students successfully completing their BSN degree. Patti is actively recruiting participants for her study and needs 2 groups of participants: students who self-identify as members of an underrepresented ethnic or racial group who are students in an RN BSN program and the second group is faculty who teach or have taught in an RN BSN program.

Participation will involve:

• A short anonymous demographic survey on Survey Monkey (few minutes)

• Email interview

• Initial email and 2 follow-up responses done at your convenience. (5-15 minute each)

This study has been approved by the Marquette University IRB.
