Another season has come and gone – at least here in Alaska.  The leaves have fallen and snow has arrived.  And so too are we starting a new season for NANAINA.  We hope that many of you will join us and N-NURSE in November in beautiful Flagstaff.  At the November meeting, I will turn over the gavel of leadership to Lisa Palucci who will take the helm of our organization as your new NANAINA President.  We will welcome and embrace several new NANAINA leaders in a new President-Elect, Board Member at Large, and Secretary.  Attending this historic, foundational meeting will provide you with an opportunity to have your voice heard about the future of our beloved organization.

It is your time to be heard, your time to give back, your time and your turn to be a leader in Native nursing and health care.  NANAINA needs your help, your support, your commitment to be part of strong and unified voice for our communities and our profession.  We look forward to seeing you, to rekindling friendships, and to charting a new chapter.

Your Outgoing President, Sandy Haldane
