UPenn CHOPR
The Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research (CHOPR) in the School of Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania, which is headed by international nurse researcher Dr. Linda H. Aiken. For over 20 years, CHOPR has conducted survey research on the nursing workforce and patient outcomes. Previous CHOPR surveys, conducted in 1999 and 2006, have provided data for research that has informed health care policy and practice changes in the United States. Currently, CHOPR is developing a new survey, now known as RN4CAST-United States. The survey focuses on both registered nurses and advanced practice registered nurses licensed in four large states: Pennsylvania, California, New Jersey, and Florida. It is scheduled for distribution in early 2015.
